The way that Bud Light and Target are reacting to the far right angry at including LGBTQ+ people is EXACTLY why many of us have railed against corporate pride.
If your advocacy consists merely of rainbows that disappear at the first gust of fascist wind, it amounts to net harm.
Today is a little frustrating.
I am a mom. It is ok to wish me happy Mother’s Day. My own mom won’t, my grandma won’t, my dad won’t. Many cis allies won’t. Friends won’t. My own son is with his other mom today.

Roe v Wade is dead.
It is no coincidence that we are watching abortion rights fall the same year the most anti-trans/lgbt laws have been passed in history.
These are two sides of the same coin in the same fight and the same people are fighting with the same justifications.
Maryland has been declared a trans sanctuary state.
Gov. Wes Moore signed an order protecting trans people and providers from extradition, investigation, and aiding refugees.
Maryland is now one of the safest states.

Greg Abbot has officially directed Family and Protective Services to begin investigating all trans children in Texas and prosecuting their parents as child abusers.
He has also instructed all teachers, doctors, and caregivers to begin reporting any trans students they see.

Y’all I can’t overstate how big a victory we just won in Ohio for trans people was.
We got a boardroom full of Republican school officials to vote AGAINST moms for Liberty anti trans policies.
The activists speeches objectively swayed things.
The anti-trans group was stunned.
They outed a trans kid who nobody knew was trans, and now they are going to drive a billboard truck mocking the kid.
These are not the good guys, y'all.

I read Eden’s suicide note today. The hardest part is that she was in DC and got to experience the community here before being forced to detransition.
That’s my city.
Then they took it away from her.
Detransition is a fate worse than death for so many of us.

He will decline extradition requests.
He will refuse subpoenas.
No resource can be used to enforce bans.
They will be the first state to upgrade to dark blue, safest states in my map.

Today, I took executive action to protect access to gender-affirming health care in Minnesota.
My message is clear: Here in Minnesota, our LGBTQ+ neighbors will not be denied or punished for seeking life-affirming and lifesaving medical care.
16 year old transgender girl Brianna Ghey was ruthlessly murdered. Two 15 year olds have been arrested with her murder.
She should still be with us today.
She deserved to see transgender liberation.
