Why web "sites" are better than web "apps".

A web app just adds JavaScript code as a middle-man to the content. With a website, the content is immediately delivered to the web browser. With a web app, content is delivered to JavaScript code and the JavaScript code creates the HTML shown by the browser. Why have this unnecessary middleman? Not at all.

 

JavaScript is intended for enhancing web pages, not for loading entire web pages.
