Happy New Year! The station orbits the Earth at 17,500 miles per hour (28,000 kilometers per hour) enabling the crew to see 16 sunrises and sunsets each day.

Welcome home Dragon!
’s Dragon cargo spacecraft splashed down off the coast of Florida today at 10:30am ET carrying 3,600 pounds of science and hardware back to Earth. This marks the completion of SpaceX’s 28th cargo resupply mission.
