Formula SAE

We compete annually in Formula SAE - a collegiate student design, build and race competition with over 600 teams and 20 events world wide. As a team, we are currently ranked 14th out of 201 combustion participants internationally - a great testament to our endeavour for achievement. Our group of 50 students entirely manage, design, build and test the car each year as an extracurricular activity, not contributing to our degree or papers in any way - we do this out of our love for the project and our passion to better ourselves for our future work. The project allows a great contrast to our University degree - exposing us to design, manufacture and project management experience.
