So, I heard that this place has "not turning you into a toxic, angry person" as a design goal. I am interested in social media that will not bring out the worst in me. I used to be Saturn500, but have mostly stopped using that username. Hopefully on here I will be less of a giant pile of garbage.

Anyway, I guess I should get into my interests:

• Video games. Shmups, fighting games, puzzle games, and turn-based RPGs seem to be the genres I play the most currently.
• Photography. I like taking pictures. As of this post I have a Canon EOS Rebel T7i.

It's honestly really hard to do this, since as far as I know this is the only place I am online where I'm not the only Jew. That and it's just really hard to go through with deleting an account. But I'm committed to leaving at this point.

You'll go on and on about how every other site is toxic and stuff but if somebody says this site's dark mode is useless dogshit or points out that it's racially homogenous, your parasocial relationships with the staff make you act like any criticism of the website is a personal attack! No, assholes, when somebody criticizes this place, it's because they want it to be better you fucking idiots!

I'm going through a ton of shit right now and a lot of it's my own fault. I do not need to be surrounded by assholes on top of everything else. Frankly, some of that shit is the wake-up call I needed in order to ditch this hellsite in sheep's clothing, so there's a silver lining at least.
