EDITOR’S LETTER

A Digital Theta

BY: ISABELLA MARKOVSKI-DICKEY | ALPHA/DEPAUW

Technology and the digital expanse are as robust as ever. It’s obvious that the more time that passes, the more we live out lives online, experiencing many of our real-life emotions and real-life events on our computers, phones, and tablets. The pandemic has really forced organizations— Theta included—to improve their digital presence and to make the most of the time a client, customer, or member spends online. What personalization settings can be self-editable? How can our e-communications be more tailored and customized to the audience? How easy or difficult is it to access important information we want everyone to know?

This issue will be a little different than the usual issue

In addition to the digital focus of this issue, you'll find a few other treats.

e A foreword of our intention to share our members’ stories appears on page 6. It’s more important than ever to see Theta through the lens of our collegians and alumnae firsthand.

¢ Theta Foundation discusses how it supports educational programming for the Fraternity and how it helps our members reach their fullest potential on page 7.

¢ This issue’s Life Loyal feature on pages 22-23 asks, “What’s your Life Loyal story?’ Help us share why being Life Loyal is important to you and adds meaning to your membership in Theta.

We’re actively utilizing and adapting technology to enhance the member experience for you. After all, Kappa Alpha Theta is the organization it is today because you are a part of it.

of the Theta magazine. In it you will find a preview of

each of Theta’s digital channels and how Theta exercises its presence online. We’ve worked hard to make our

online member experience the best it can be, and we’re constantly working to explore new options and to further

develop what we have.
