Gail's rubbery body isn't just skin deep with stretchy organs. Her entire body is a stretchy rubber mass. Thankfully if her limbs are cut off she'll survive just fine. Although reattaching them can be a bit annoying as her body must liquify before doing so, which just requires her to melt from heat such as a radiator or even a small flame held close.
