MemberComments are a trap, be aware of that.
When express your feelings you get a warn

MemberYep 10/10 site rule definitely makes total sense on a porn website
KnottyZoe
Member"We don't need to know that"
Maybe we don't need to, but I don't mind knowing.
Would appreciate mods changing that rule about sharing interests, no matter how much they'll repeat "this isn't a porn site, it's an art gallery site that accepts porn" or whatever... guys, this is a porn site, and you know it, there's e926 for non-sexual stuff
BashfulBuckboy
MemberCan we talk about the expressions? They are SO good.
serialpitsniffer
MemberEspecially when I've seen some artists express that they find such comments flattering... I feel now like I can't share such feelings on their art when I'd like to bc I've gotten a warning for doing so before. So when I feel a comment coming on I remember how they're dealt with by some mods, end up feeling stifled before even saying anything, and usually don't share my lewd thoughts on lewd art. :/
DSGOKori
MemberI'm sure it couldn't be too hard to impliment a system where artists can inform the site of any discomfort and some sort of warning could get displayed above the comments section on their posts tagged Q or E. But idunno. I guess just continue hampering users' abilities to interract and express their enjoyment of the art ๐คท

Memberhaps watersports art!! i didn't know they drew that, great job!
gfotdlavgistonsti
Memberliterally this would be genius they could tag their creations and posts with what is welcome and what is not, but its never gonna happen since the mods are worse than redditors and discord "cat girl daddy simp" mods, and watch i get a warning for this message too, or even worse either blocked, deleted or banned because i was correct
gfotdlavgistonsti
Memberoh my gosh thank you youre absolutely correct glad im not the only one
gfotdlavgistonsti
Memberawesome work haps always love your art
Wowguy1234
MemberBro if an artist makes porn why shouldnโt viewers be able to talk about it in a sexual manner? If you donโt wanna see porn content donโt click on pornโฆ pretty simple ideology

Memberthis whole comment section, i fully support, e621 fix your site, make some special update, you can tag posts with what they mean and stuff, why not make some post editor where you can have in big letters "THIS IS NOT ALLOWED ect ect ect" and for other artists if they allow it then "THIS IS ALLOWED" stuff like this would bring more people in cuz you drive alot of people away for flagging for the SMALLEST things i dont know if its cuz yall r sensitive or scared, i get that youre trying to protect some people then again you could take countermeasures and ways to make it enjoyable for everyone instead of ONE RUINS FOR ALL kind of bull cuz thats what it feels like if someone says "wow fluffy i want a hug" and you attack them with a ban, flagging, blocked, marked as someone to avoid, and ect, you do all this for even small things, ITS SAD I SAW A COMMENT GET DELETED AND THE ACCOUNT BANNED FOR SAYING "uwu" REALLY? come on, this site is so good for bringing communities together both NSFW and SFW just adjust some things and people would be less mad

MemberFuraffinity is art site , e621 reposts majority just "non clean art" , from statistics i done few years ago furaffinity porn ratio is 15% for adult 10% for mature and 75% general audience , making it furry art site
E621? 25-30% is porn , 35%ish questionable (possibly porn or mature , bulges etc) and only , 35%ish is clean art
so in short is e621 porn site? very likely
you can find yourself by just using in serch: "rating:safe" or "rating:questionable", etc
what i find funnier , lewd comments are generaly fine at furaffinity unless artists/poster actively dont wants them
here rules are enforced based on "admins and general populous" , who i find odd considering 65-75% art is "not safe for work" , so you think rules would reflect that but they dont

MemberGUYS SHUT THE FUCK UP ITS JUST PORN
QueenofDeath
MemberThat's literally what everyone above is trying to say lmao
ChimeraOtnek
MemberWhy is this idea getting downvoted so heavily? It doesn't make sense to exclude the artist's preferences. This is something E621 is notorious for. Actually working with the artist community to make sensible rules would be benificial to the site. Seems some of these voting just enjoy division and chaos.
Decadence
MemberThat rule exists to keep out the r/pornhubcomments tier nonsense. Huge improvement imo, the shit you used to be able to say on here was absolutely vile lmao. I get why people would want to say that kind of thing, but the "God I wish this were me" shit and impromptu public RPs in the comment section got really old really quickly. I'll take a tapered down comment section over everyone over sharing their incredibly detailed fantasies nobody asked about in literally every thread for a popular artist.
Varenvel
Memberrules of browsing content also applies to comments , if you dont like creepy comments , you dont have to read them if they are not aimed at you , idk why some people think "vile and kinky art" is fine , but as soon as somone comments something even as half kinky as the art , some people make outrage and claim "oh my god i had to read that its so vile" ,meanwhile the art is 2 or 5x kinkier then the comment
most people be like "odd comment" and move on
e621 can moderate how they want , but i personally always found it very odd , tho i like they "pin" ban reason to people , old forums used to do that as people are notorious of claiming innocence , and here you can see what people got banned for. (more so they also ban specific things they said if they got banned for who is like super good)
i can more understand it on FA who is not primarly porn as from various statistics 75% of all FA art is clean , but here most art is reposted by not artists , and majority of it is porn.
