You want to know how to get itasha. Or how to make itasha. I know that. Because many visitors come to this blog by searching "Itasha sticker", "buy itasha", "how to itasha".

Itasha is not what you buy complete one, but what you make with stickers.

Basically, Japanese ordered sticker print to custom sticker shop. Sometimes with their favorite picture and sometimes including design order.
You may feel the most difficult process is "design" to make itasha.

It is actually not the truth.
The most difficult complex process is "Get approval from publisher".
As you know, all anime has copy right.
Legally, you must not have anime picture stuff without approval from publisher.
Japanese custom sticker shop need us to get approval when we order anime character print sticker.

I know you can make handmade sticker without taking approval.
But you can't make big size sticker with your home printer.

What is more, you can never remove the risk to have litigation from publishers.

How to get approval?
Send e-mail to publisher with your design picture.
Publisher may not give reply to personal question. Or you may need to communicate in Japanese.

Even If you can use Japanese. It is usually difficult to get approval for very popular character like "one piece", "Naruto", "Doragon ball"...And it cost too much!
(Someone says it is easy to get approval if the itasha is for only personal, not for selling it. But I'm not sure)
