Goodman handle 9 cm wide fitting my bare hand (or wearing 2 mm gloves) to handle my Mares eos 2c diving light. Lock is done by 2 screws on the sides, without tools. I added a 2.5 mm neoprene layer around the plate to not hurt the back of my bare hand. For transportation, the U part is tall enough to protect the glass head when the handle is turned down.
