Chimelong has 8 males and 5 females. As of February 2023, the captured whales range in age from 12-20 years old. As of February 2017, the smallest was 2,400 lbs and 13.1 ft and the largest is 8,000 lbs and 21.3 ft. Three are still being held at Chimelong's Holding Facility.
