Katenka

Katenka is an estimated 17 year old female orca who was captured in Russia and lives at Chimelong Spaceship.

Katenka gave birth to her first calf, a male named Yilong, on April 5th, 2019. The calf's father is Tyson. This was the first calf for both Katenka and Tyson, as well as the first killer whale calf born in China.

Katenka gave birth to her second calf, a female named Katniss, on January 27, 2022. She gave birth to her third calf, another male, on December 1, 2023.

She is the matriarch and dominant female of the pod. She is often seen with Tyson, Yilong and Katniss, as well as other members of the pod. She performs often in Chimelong's shows.
