Living with lung cancer can pose a significant challenge for many people. Not only may a diagnosis be fear and pain provoking, it also has the potential to alter brain chemistry and impact the way people think and feel. In fact, chemotherapy has been known to impact the body and mind – even years after completing treatment.
What if a tool to help us manage our pain and fatigue was a mobile app, rather than another drug?
If you have been diagnosed with lung cancer, you may be able to participate in a virtual study and help advance research of future treatment options, all from the comfort of your home on your mobile device.
We are evaluating a medical treatment app to see whether it is able to assist in the regulation of pain and fatigue for individuals who are living with lung cancer.
We are seeking participants from around the United States who are living with lung cancer to help us learn from their experience by using our mobile application. Our treatment application utilizes brain training – engaging special exercises that strengthen brain function, which may improve your pain and fatigue. The exercises can be done remotely from your own device, such as an iPhone or Android smartphone.
There is no cost to participate in our up to 7-week study from home, and you will be compensated for your participation in our study.
This is not a study that tests medication.
