Today we have officially opened our new facility in Haiphong, Vietnam!
This expansion marks a significant milestone in our strategy to increase local manufacturing capacity with a focus on customers in the automotive and electronics industries. The new site will produce approximately 40 million square meters of tape per year, with 50 percent of production using water-based adhesives to prioritize sustainability. We're also working towards LEED Gold Standard certification as a further step in our sustainability agenda.

tesa Unleashes Next Gen Talent with Enhanced Training & Dual Study Programs
We're welcoming four trainees and 12 dual students on board starting today. This initiative includes apprenticeships as chemical laboratory technicians and collaborations with Technische Universität Hamburg and Fachhochschule Wedel.
Our goal? To identify, develop, and retain promising talent for the long term. We're introducing six dual study programs and expanding our apprenticeship program at the Norderstedt site.
In addition to chemical laboratory technician training, we're focusing on six other dual degree programs, including degrees in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Data Science. In alignment with our sustainability strategy, we are also proud to introduce a "Green Technology" degree program. This program places a strong emphasis on sustainable technologies and their application in achieving a resilient, environmentally friendly energy and water supply for the future. Given tesa's unwavering commitment to sustainability, we are thrilled to have successfully integrated this program to further bolster our sustainability initiatives.
