Naja

Naja is an 11 year old female orca who lives at the Moskvarium. She was captured in Russia in July 2014.

On December 21, 2014, it was confirmed that she had joined orcas Narnia and Nord at the Moskvarium. She may have lived in Sochi prior to her arrival. She can often be seen performing with Nord. She spent a lot of time with Narnia, though Narnia passed away in January 2023. She had began training for waterworks soon after her arrival to Moskvarium, but those efforts were stopped. It was confirmed in August 2017, that her official name is Naja/Naya. She had been known as Malishka and Juliet as well. Juliet is her stage name.

In October 2023, Moskvarium confirmed that Naja is pregnant with her first calf. They confirmed she became pregnant naturally, meaning Nord is the father. She is 15 months into her pregnancy and due to give birth around December.
