Disney enforced gender dysphoria
Robin Hood and Maid Marian look pretty much the same aside from their clothing
Cuz Robin Hood is a twink
I don’t think this one is on Disney to be fair. This I think was a specific critique of Alpha Omega? Which wasn’t Disney
There's something hilarious about the wolf on the right having such an enormous shnoz.
Yeah, I actually like that one. He’s just so goofy.
If they weren't cowards, they'd do backshots of the guys when they're introduced so we see that they have balls
Girls pretty, boys goofy
If you are gonna anthropomorphize the animals for your story, then yeah... that will allow the most people to connect with it and respond well to it. Don't do a Lion King remake
This is a bad example because male lions and female lions already don't look alike
Heck, even SWAT Kats falls into this. Felina straight up looks human compared to everyone else
Oh the blacksad syndrome
Males: Just straight up anthropomorphized animals, sometimes they're just straight up an animal dude on 2 legs
Females: extremely human looking women but like with a cat nose and cat ears I guess. MAYBE she'll have a bit of a muzzle if she's an animal with a long face (only discernable if she's shown in profile). But they all have big beautiful luscious lips ok it's mandatory. Unless they're nasty old fat bitches or something, then they're like the above
Gender dysphoria is a mismatch of psychological sex and biological sex.
This is sexual dimorphism at most.
Indeed, especially when certain species of animals ostensibly have indistinguishable secondary sexual characteristics.
They do it so it’s more relatable/ human like
genuine question, do you mean dimorphism?
