Bad Ground?

So my car has a very annoying problem, if there is a load put on the electrical system (such as hazard lights on,wind shield wipers, etc.) any other electrical component dims (such as the dome lights or head lights). It doesn't matter if the car is on or off. I suspect a bad ground might be the culprit. Where are the grounds located? Anyone else have this problem?
