Lord Protector
i have no idea what it is, but something about Rik Mayall in drag as a sadistic old upperclass lady makes me all aquiver.

Today is the third anniversary of Rik’s death. He was such an amazing comic and actor, and is a genuine inspiration to me and so many others.
The reason he’s such a legend is because he’s lived a full and beautiful life.
“I had a very happy childhood, happy teenage years and I was famous by the time I was 22. A charmed life.”
He played so many loved and memorable characters that were dotted throughout my life. My dad grew up with The Young Ones and I grew up with The Comic Strip.
He brought so much character to the characters he played and his confidence astounded me, he seemed so at home on the stage.
“In the first series people were saying ‘Gosh, isn’t Rik Mayall good-looking?’ but by the second they were saying ‘Gosh, isn’t Rik Mayall a good actor?’ and that’s all I ever really wanted.”
