Moana was a 12 year old male Icelandic killer whale that lived at Marineland Antibes. He was born there on the 16th of March, 2011 to Wikie and Ulises through artificial insemination, and died on the 17th/18th of October, 2023.

On the morning of the 18th of October, 2023, Moana was reportedly found dead in his tank. Marineland stated that he either died on the night of the 17th or morning of the 18th.[1] Reports revealed that he had been sick for several months with "subdermal lesions."[2]
