I'm not sure of the health of the west coast fishery stock. However, I'm from a fishing community on the East Coast and I can definitely tell you with certainty that the government waited 20 years too late to close the ground fishery here. It never recovered in 30 years. People here were in full revolt but they all were wrong. The fishery needs to be managed and should have been shut down 20 years earlier. Again I'm not aware of the stocks on the West Coast fishery.

Because under him, all his voters have made massive amounts of wealth through their housing properties, people come into generational wealth from parents and grandparents passing and they don't see the impacts from inflation and insane amount of taxes that are paid. So if your family has no money, if you're a first generation Canadian whos parents struggling to survive, youre only option is to leave.
Been looking into the USA recently. And Id much rather pay 500 a month for health insurance and only have to pay 20% taxes, no sales tax, cheaper food and gas, utilities are cheaper, car insurance is cheaper. And average wages for what I do pay 40% more.
I dont know what benefit I have living hear, when I could move to the states and make 170k CAD at 20% tax, Instead of 100k CAD at 45% tax.
Oh and housings cheaper too.
Dogshit country that got ruined in less then a decade.
