I dread the day they pull the plug.

Maybe we will be able to access the classic site in the wayback machine.

I agree on all counts.

The day that the "classic" version is "retired" will be the last day I use IA.

But we're just pissing in the wind. The people running IA never look at the forums and really don't care what we think. They've already convinced themselves that their correct and everyone else is wrong.

If only somebody took all of the content we enjoy (like Feature Films and Classic TV) and started a "new" Internet Archive with the layout format of the "old" Archive site.

Yeah, I'm dreaming. :-/

Many's the time I felt like giving up on this site, but a few nice people I've "met" here keep me coming back, and especially our friend, the HappySwordsman. His regular uploads are the only thing I visit here to watch and/or download anymore (no offense meant toward anyone else).

So as much as I have grown to hate the new layout, I've added the "Classic TV" section to my bookmarks, since that's why I come here, especially for Matt's uploads.

Merry Christmas to everyone who celebrates it, and a generic Happy Holidays to all! And remember in your celebrations: Drink Gloog, make Slemoth!* :-D
