The Internet Archive creates video derivations from files after upload, but it would be good if it also created audio derivations in one format (i.e. ogg. vorbis) as well.

Some users (e.g. in countries with limited Internet speeds, namely Iran) might just require the audio part of a video.

A derived audio file would add a lot of convenience.

Also, the Internet Archive already derives screenshots from videos, so why not audio separately too?

I second the suggestion.

Some videos are just slide-shows (podcasts with some added still pictures).
