The "troll accounts" spamming extremely controversial statements are in many cases not just some more or less crazy individuals but organized AND financed pretty often by Western governments. For example Angela Merkel put round about 1 billion Euros into mostly Leftist NGOs that create and support troll farms (this campaign was labelled "Kampf gegen Rechts" but basically was a battle against free speech).
Also a whole bunch of Western left wing parties openly finance and support ANTIFA. ANTIFA is probably engaged in this process of trolling unwanted platforms, too. They use more often than not Soviet style tactics in order to smear and delete the political opposition.
Further more federal agents set up honey pots in order to catch some extremists and to persecute them. After "the war on terror" ended thousands and thousands of American agents were looking for a new challenge and are turning against the citizens, portraying them as dangerous folks just in order to keep their jobs paid by taxes.

There also seems to be what I presume are bot accounts hitting selected channels with large amounts of downvotes (either that or some dedicated people shifting between multiple accounts and manually downvoting on each), usually very soon after the videos are published.
It's obvious because the downvotes are always the same amount across all the videos on the channel, and without the accompanying comments that an organic group of downvoters would naturally make if they indeed watched and disliked the video.
Seems like a minor issue but is something that could be demoralizing to the uploaders, if there is an easy way to check for manipulation here it would be great to see it implemented and the bot/hater accounts cleared out in a timely manner. [show more]
I am not surprised that Twitter kind of scams the people by promoting "free speech" and not delivering it. It's misleading advertisement at least.
Almost all American and Canadian platforms are acting in this way. Therefore Rumble, Odysee, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube pretend to support free speech and basically all these platforms are censoring massively since they arbitrarily deemed certain speech to be "awful".
By the way this kind of tyranny is even worse than speech restrictions by law. Because there are much more ways to challenge laws that limit free speech. Further more speech restrictions by law are much more transparent and tend to be applied equally.
When it comes to free speech all big U.S. and all big Canadian internet platforms are scam artists. Their censorship is much more malicious and hideous in nature than speech restrictions by law. Also nobody knows which speech is "wrong think" besides the private censor. This leads to a situation of high uncertainty. People have to live in fear to somehow make the private censor mad.
At the end TikTok offers more free speech than any U.S. internet platform. That's hilarious. The CCP just censors criticism of the CCP while American platforms censor every kind of arbitrarily labelled "wrong think".
There are ways to go around speech restrictions by law. For example by creating art. The subjective censorship by an American corporate tyrant cannot be evaded that easily. Hey, since I'm here, I and others have been experiencing a problem when posting. If you post more than one line Bitchute occasionally compresses the comment into one long line then needs to be edited in order to be formatted the way you intended it to be.
I'll give an example, and ironically I will most likely have to edit this in order to display the issue properly:

This happens regularly with copy/paste-ed stuff too, like when I try to copy/paste the timestamps that had been cut off of Jordan Peterson's videos' description field (not sure if this has been fixed yet or not, though adding more space seems appropriate IMO).
Still happens to me too when it comes to copy pasted things. Going to test it out now in the comment. Drawing from a .txt file. Sometimes it compresses the lines into one line, sometimes it doesn't. Regardless it's still very much an issue. Bitchute's system randomly adds and subtracts lines from what you type or paste into the comments. The addition of lines is nearly as annoying as the subtraction of lines.

I think the addition of lines (more rare) is fixed by simply hitting edit then send (with no actual editing done). The removing of lines requires finding where that happened and going through it all and re-adding the lines.
Yeah, but in the case of the extra line added and the fix you have to have that 'edited xx' tag on your post, and it happens to me fairly frequently. As for the subtraction of lines, I have a fix for that as well. You put a space at the end of the line, then hit Enter and see if the next line jumps or not. If it doesn't 'jump' forward one space, that meant it was going to contract and compress the two lines into one. The space is a catch so it's easier to choose to just leave it unedited. Even with that ridiculous trick, it still sometimes contracts, or adds another line!

Interesting fix, I usually delete the spacing between distinct lines/paragraphs and hit return twice to make sure things are displayed correctly the first time.
On the "edited" tag, a suggestion for the site would be to let comments be edited within a short time after posting (I think reddit allows for three minutes) without being displayed as "edited" to others.
I hate plebbit so much it's unreal, even though I have never used it myself or been associated with it. Real hatred too. I'm finding it difficult not to swear like a maniac in response. I'd enjoy the internet 10x more if I never saw a link or reference to that ugly regressive pit of shame again.

This reminds me that I sometimes don't get comment replies (have discovered this three times 3+ months ago, though as I don't go back to old comments it has probably happened much more), or as in this case they don't display as they should.
For example I got a comment reply in the notifications for both your comment and someone else's here and clicked on his reply to come to his comment on this page (no problem so far), but when I got to this page the notifications was "1/1" (his) when it should have been 1/2 (yours and his), and while the link to your comment was still there in the actual notifications page it was marked as "read" (i.e. a grey link instead of a red one), and not displayed via the bell icon.
Related, I sometimes click on a notification to see upon getting to the related video page the notification "this comment no long exists", which is usually a) true but means that the original notification shouldn't be there if the comment reply is gone, or b) a comment reply exists, maybe by the same person - possibly after an edit or deletion and re-post - or maybe by someone else (the issue above)? Could be related to server errors or the E-mail service linked to your Bitchute account to blame. Then again perhaps when comments are edited they are treated differently in some situations? Not really sure what's going on, but that has happened to me in the past as well. It's why to this day I use my browser history to revisit recent posts I might care about.
Of course if someone deletes their post of the channel owner blocks someone it would make sense a notification *might not be sent because the comment no longer exists, but I would still suspect server error or E-mail issues to be the main culprit in a majority of cases in which the notification is not sent or received.

Couple of points: My son works for Musk at Tesla writing AI code for FSD- the driverless car. I have a strong point of reference for my opinions. Musk is using AI to shadowban on X. Unlike traditional programming, AI uses vast databases for the model to "learn".
