What is your field, and how did you get in?

I've pretty much been drawing for as long as I can remember and just ended up developing a preference for digital illustration and character design.

So far, how have you been developing your skills?

Practice, trying out new styles, studying other visual media.

Where do you go when you seek inspiration?

Other artists' art, fashion blogs, video games, cartoons, movies, costumes and books.

What are some of your favorite artists and genres?

I'd say captainharrie, hjeojeo, gigideegee, azucar_arts, jeibon, and many others.

What are some of your favorite writers and books?

Aiden Thomas (Cementery Boys), Madeline Miller (The song of Achilles), Mackenzi Lee (The Gentleman's Guide to Vice and Virtue), TJ Klune (The House in the Cerulean Sea)

What do you listen to?

EDM, BGM, VGM, fantasy music, pop, Let's Plays, Video Essays, Audiobooks, Podcasts.

What are some of your favorite movies and filmmakers?

Kung Fu Panda Trilogy, The Book of Life, Guardians of Ga'hoole, Into the Spider-verse, Puss in Boots: The Last Wish, Everything Everywhere All At Once

I love your artwork, particularly the style you use for your "Splatoon" fan art -- it's so gorgeously colorful and there is such a great sense of movement in the lines, they appear to leap (or dance!) off the screen! 💖
