1080p@30fps? Oh, come on. It is 2023. At this point, 1080p@30fps has become an exclusion criterion for me. By now, any proper smartphone needs to feature 1080p@60fps.
Krill, 09 Jun 2023Are there any 5G ones with walkie talkie function? As far as I'm aware of, none of the Chinese 'DMR' Phones are 5G ready/Capable - limited to 4G because of the hardware support on the cellular side of the SOC. Maybe, but only of interest to hams due to price and being tailored to ham DMR use, the B2 version of the RFinder phone or it's P series tablet equivalent.
Cautionary note :-
I'm not citing the 20WT as an absolute example of, but most of the few Chinese DMR phones aren't actually equipped as legit DMR certified radios, they rely on transceivers (for their VHF or VHF/UHF transceiver hardware) originally designed for a Chinese market POC type service where it happens to be MOSTLY compatible with DMR, so with the right software employed, they become at least intercom grade (simplex operation) DMR compatible sets.
Whilst it may be a 'dont care if it's legit' thing to casual PMR446 users who want DMR service too, most of the sets aren't CE certified (the certificate is as fake as a billion goats bitcoin) - which is important to be aware of if buying a batch to use as work radios - because whilst claimed to be certified and Tier 2 spec, no uncertified Tier 1 or Tier 2 compatible set is legally operable on the PMR446 allocation because they aren't certified - so any license free claim based on PMR446 use is total BS in most cases in the UK and EU.
So unless the equipment has a totally valid CE certified status (which is easy to discover), about the only people who can legally use the radio side in the UK & EU are ham operators on ham VHF&UHF allocations.
Again, I'm not citing that as applicable to to 20WT, as I've not did the legal discovery on the certificate it has, but the above is pretty much absolute for most Chinese DMR Phones and the even rarer NBFM analogue variety.

Codename Falcon, 20 Apr 2023Does this really have a dedicated SD card slot?Like its predecessors 3T and 3WT, it has a dedicated SD card slot.
Alex, 14 May 2023Is that antenna only for walkie-talkie or enhances 4G as well? Is it detachable or retractable? That external antenna is only used for the walkie talkie function.

Personally own 3T and 3WT versions. Ulefone won't fix fundamental and essential software problems on their phone after a couple of months of releasing the phone. The 3T has a compass offset for about 30 degrees CCW. The proximity sensor (software) in the 3WT will fail from time to time and requires some tricks to get it back to work. Even though this phone is physically good, what good does a phone do that has these critical software problems? I like its big battery and rugged build though. I don't even dare to buy and try this 20WT now.
This is an upgraded Armor 3WT, Same exact body, screen, front speakers (My 3wt sounds terrible playing music, has zero bass or mids), slightly larger battery capacity, and DMR walkie talkie. If they put better speakers - updated from Gorilla Glass 5 screen to Victus or the newer Victus it could be great phone. I stopped using my 3wt because of how bad the speakers are.
Finally, good size and good battery.
