Grapes

A lucky (now more than ever) couple in Japan recently received a unique, and extremely pricey, wedding gift. As FoodBeast reports, the newlyweds received a bushel of approximately 30 grapes, each valued at about $180, for a total worth of $5,400. These special, "ping-pong" sized grapes called Ruby Roman grapes are only sold in Ishikawa Prefecture in Japan, and are said to be a good luck symbol in the country's traditions. Apparently, FoodBeast continues, the owner of the couple's wedding hall won the grapes in an auction, and "โ€ฆ told the two to savor the grapes' sweet and fresh taste and enjoy the memories they brought."

Makes you want to rethink that registry you just put together, doesn't it?
