This anime truly is something else
(Kaneko Kazuma, the Demon Artist)
Eva was the first anime in a while that really made me look forward to each episode. What I found ingenuous about the scenario was that the basic setting was only revealed towards the end. A captivating choice. This anime truly is something else, not only because it gets you hooked thanks to its quality, but also because it makes you think for yourself. Discussions whether this anime is good or bad can reveal your true self, so I say it’s better to keep your opinion to yourself, otherwise you’d end up exposed and embarrassed.
Well, having said that, the movie is obviously still weighing on my mind, so I will come up with my own explanations for the so-called mysteries of the plot. It would be kind of disappointing if everything happened according to my imagination, but if it didn’t it would be boring and hmm… it’s complicated. Now that I think about it, I haven’t felt like this since 2001: A Space Odyssey. The sequel, 2010, was too straightforward…
