if you're "not good at interpreting" then you might need to go study more. take lots of notes on symbology, numerology, elements and how they relate to the suits, and actually look at what's happening in the card.

the 8 of pentacles is super easy. 8 is a stable number, it relates to progress and the potential for achievement. pentacles are an earthy suit, they have to do with the material realm; work, education, stability, money, diligence, pragmatism, etc. are all themes that show up in this suit.

the art in the card tells you exactly what's happening. the man has been working hard to perfect his craft with the repetition of his task. he is a craftsman honing his skill.

therefore this card symbolizes putting in the work to achieve mastery over your skills.

Do you have an unhealthy relationship with work? Like overworking yourself? This could maybe be suggesting that you're going to be forced to take a break if you don't stop overworking yourself.

I pulled all three of these cards yesterday, in a different spread. I've been pulling Death recurrently over the past like week.

• Death represents Scorpio. Scorpios spend much of their life going through periods of death and rebirth, transforming. The card represents an unstoppable, not necessarily consensual, change.

• 8p represents a combination of Eight and Pentacles. Despite you not understanding this card, I think it’s the most straight-forward of the cards you pulled. Eights represent movement, or taking action. Pentacles represents health/work/money. Therefore, there is movement or action in health, work or money.

• Devil represents Capricorn. It represents the dark, restricting and fearful elements of life that motivate Capricorn people to get off their ass. So therefore, the Devil represents fear, obsession, addictions, etc.

I would interpret this as you just went through some sort of massive change, and it’s forcing you back into work or school. You could also be working on your health, since the Devil is following right after it. Are you a former addict? These cards in tandem are giving that feel. There’s definitely relapse energy, or some sort of energy revolving around being addicted or obsessed with something/someone. Dark thoughts are coming through.
