I've been used Note 3 from the first time released until now (Oct 2016). It's a great smartphone ever. The only cons is the battery life. But i used external charger and use an extra batt. Problem Solved !!
I love my Note 3. =)

Before upgrading, please watch some screenshots of the new, clean userinterface, which has bright colours, and flat design. (flat design is not bad, and makes image manipulation much easier, but looks boring in my opinion.)

If that link is dead, just do a web-search for: I love messy interfaces. There are many copies (mirror hosts) of that article.
3. Decide, which one you prefer. In my opinion, the old user interface is really beautiful, and white text glows infront of a dark background, which saves a lot of power on AMOLED-screens.
You can also invert the colours on white user interface, but then, other UI colours will also be negative, which usually looks not so pleasent.

Hello. TL777 here.
Having a Note 3 in 2013 was glorious, especially due to the multitasking capabilities and hardware equipment (RAM, sensors, self-capacitive touchscreen layer a stylis, which is 100× better than the P.P.A.P.
) and features.
What's the next step to future? 5K (2880p@60fps) or even 6K and DCi, if the image sensor resolution is sufficient. Just add sensor data and other stuff (camera focus point and current focus status) to the metadata, and you will get a whole bunch of new possibilities: shake and rotation correction, even for 2160p, and extraction of hyperlapses and panoramas, and maybe some special effects.
The metadata would take close to zero space storage relative to a 60fps video with 5K or more. That would fill out Apple''s whole 5K Mac screen copletely for good. And then the glorious smoothness of 60fps makes it even more pleasent to watch.

In the present diaster with Note 7, it would be a very nice gesture if Samsung could relase a android 6.0 update world wide for Note 3.
My Samsung Galaxy Tab S T-705 tablet just recieved the update OTA here in DK.

12 OCTOB... moreBecause they tried to impose those silly iPhone innovations like sealed batteries which the silly fandogs lapped up happily.
I don't run out of charge because I am always close to a charger, have a power bank dangling from my phone and I cripple the features I paid for by using power saving/ultra power saving features.

Russian site Hi Tech Mail.ru reports about a source which claims that the South Korean manufacturing giant is considering the abolishment of the “Note” brand, due to the most recent events of the Galaxy Note7 being recalled due to battery explosions, twice.
We have to face it, the reputation of the Note brand has been destroyed, not to mention all the negative attention Samsung has been receiving because of the faulty smartphones.(you need to move n fella,note series is now dead,rightly so too.no more updates for any note series now.its a dead platform now)

I like the phone, i liked it more when it was still a Kit Kat phone but moving on. I would like to see options to disable emoji characters from being seen on my text screen. I prefer to talk with words then trying to decipher what someone means when they put a picture of a thumbs up or something. ridiculously annoyed by emojis.
