- New Coronavirus Infection Prevention Handling Change (Applicable from May 8, 2023)
At Sagami Railway, in response to the classification of the new coronavirus infectious disease being lowered to type 5 under the Infection Law from May 8, 2023 (Monday), we have implemented each at stations and trains. We would like to inform you that the infection prevention measures will be changed as follows.- Wearing a mask is at the discretion of each employee.
- In principle, station staff will be assigned to the ticket gate window again. (Remote guidance will continue at stations where the passenger guidance system has been introduced.)
- The anti-splash sheet and acrylic board installed at the ticket gate window will be removed. (Except for some.)
- The antiseptic solution for customers installed at the ticket gate window will be removed.
- The entrance and exit of the waiting room in the station will be closed and normal operation will be carried out.
- Complete disinfection work for station equipment, railcar straps, handrails, etc.
- Air towels installed in customer toilets at some stations will continue to be discontinued due to the tight power demand. (Except for some.)
- We will stop opening the windows of the vehicle for the purpose of infection prevention.
