Japan’s lost and found system actually works because unlike many other countries, even items such as diamond rings are actually FOUND and returned to its owner.

IT WAS RETURNED TO THE POLICE! Thank you all so much for your help I am in shock and BEYOND grateful. Never taking it off my finger again!
Well, come to think of it, we already have a female version of the word “hero” which is “heroine”. So why invent a ridiculous new word?? Maybe the PC police is not happy that there is no “she” in “heroine”?
Just came across the words “heroes and sheroes” in an article in TIME magazine. First time I have seen the word “shero”, and I suppose the PC police is now telling us that the word “hero” is sexist.
Ridiculous!
I prefer working from the office and also believe that remote work cannot foster the necessary collaboration and company culture, but requiring ALL employees to work in the office 5 days a week makes absolutely no sense.
Yeah sure—this picture also demonstrates how these ugly installations of solar panels everywhere are destroying nature in Japan. Is it okay to destroy forests and mountains in Japan to “battle” climate change?

Climate change took a back burner during the G7, but the communique did have targets for renewable energy. A view from the Shinkansen on the way back from Hiroshima
