Dr. Yusuke Mazda, an Associate Professor in the Department of Obstetric Anesthesiology at Saitama Medical Center, Saitama Medical University, Kawagoe, Japan, has assiduously devoted himself to a plethora of scholarly contributions. His research endeavors center around the amelioration of maternal and fetal outcomes through the application of safe and high-quality anesthesia. Through his studies, specifically in the areas of randomized controlled trials of acupuncture for the treatment of morphine-induced pruritus, perioperative quality improvement for enhanced recovery after surgery in arthroplasty and cesarean delivery, the development of an Obstetric Quality of Recovery score in Japanese, and research on maternal psychiatry and fetal outcomes in cesarean delivery, he has had a significant impact on the field of obstetric anesthesiology. Presently, he also serves as a Section Editor for Journal of Anesthesia in the domain of obstetric anesthesia.
松田祐典は埼玉医科大学総合医療センター産科麻酔科の准教授で，数多くの学術的な貢献に努めてきた．彼の研究テーマは，安全で質の高い麻酔を通じて，母体と胎児の予後改善である．これまで，モルヒネ誘発性掻痒症の治療における鍼治療のRCT，人工関節置換術および帝王切開術における術後回復促進のための医療品質改善，日本語版出産後回復スコア (Obstetric Quality of Recovery) の開発，帝王切開術における母体生理学と胎児の転帰に関する研究を通じて，産科麻酔学の領域に大きな影響を及ぼしてきた．現在は，Journal of Anesthesiaにおける産科麻酔領域のSection Editorも努めている．
