Welcome to Kitsuki, lovely castle town

Kitsuki is a small castle town located in the northeast of Oita prefecture in Kyushu, Japan.

The unique slope, the scenery of Suya Slope, attracts visitors. Next to it, samurai residences such as "Ohara Residence", "Nomi Residence” where you can drink matcha, and "Isoya Residence", which were the residences of senior samurai during the Edo period, are connected with a clay fence. 

You would love the atmosphere of this quiet and small castle town.
