As he passed by people collecting signatures for the Recall of David Eby (Premier of BC) Campaign, a man became extremely angry, belligerent and made threatening gestures toward Rick, one of the volunteers. As I pulled my camera out he immediately dialled back his aggression.
The Recall David Eby campaign is in response to Bill 36, which makes major changes to health care in British Columbia, giving the government unprecedented power over health care, patients and medical personnel. Doctors and nurses are leaving the province over these new government regulations. The public's recourse is to rise up and recall the architect of the draconian bill, David Eby.
