i think you need to be careful when using the term psyop, it has a very narrow definition and historical context and you really detract from the experience of actual victims in harmful regimes when

The most effective part of this is that like 10% of people just act like that all the time anyway, so it's challenging to tell malicious sabotage from the normal background noise of bs.

Probably doesn't help that the algorithm is constantly trying to get me to look at uninteresting posts from conspiracy theorists who I don't follow, that can't be great for anyone

It’s crazy how often I see someone making stance on X subject and suddenly a bunch of people start “correcting” them for no including such and such terms or talking about how it affects a group, leading to infighting, which leads to the original subject completely lost

the real trick is if you brainworm-ify it and couch it in a feeling of righteousness you can get rubes to do it for you!

I don't know if you fully understand the term sabotage. I think that if you were talking about destabilization, or simply causing internal conflict within an "organization" or grouping of similarly minded individuals, you would have gotten the point across better...
