Inverter AC
The following graph shows the Test results during space cooling operation. The superiority of inverter AC compared to non-inverter AC has been observed / confirmed in the Test results. The monthly power consumption of inverter AC during 5 months From June until October was approximately 62 % less than the one of non-inverter AC.
The following graph shows the Test results during space heating operation. Same as the results of space cooling operation, the superiority of inverter AC compared to non-inverter AC has been also observed / confirmed. The difference in the power consumption between inverter AC and non-inverter AC was larger than the one under the space cooling operation. The monthly power consumption of inverter AC during 5 months from December until April was around 76% less than the one of non-inverter AC.
Based on the data obtained thus far, the economic evaluation has been examined together with the measured values in the Test and the predicted values for the remaining Test period. According to this examination, the equipment price difference between inverter AC and non-inverter AC would be recovered by the electricity charge within 2 years.
Note: The followings were assumed to conduct this economic evaluation (trial calculation) based on the obtained data to date. ・Operation hours: 24 hours/day (everyday)
・Space cooling operation: June - October (5 months)
・Space heating operation: December - April (5 months)
・Unit electric price: 1.23 EGP/kWh
