Patrick Bet-David (born October 18, 1978) is an entrepreneur, author, and podcast host. He is the founder of PHP Agency, Inc and the founder of the media company Valuetainment. His YouTube channel features interviews with business leaders, politicians, mobsters, athletes, and entertainers. The YouTube channel currently has more than three million subscribers. His book, Your Next Five Moves: Master the Art of Business Strategy,.[1] debuted at #1 on the Wall Street Journal bestseller list on August 22, 2020[2].

Early Life[edit]

Bet-David was born in an Assyrian-Armenian family at Tehran, Iran and is the youngest of two children. His family fled war-torn Iran on July 15, 1989 and moved to a refugee camp in Erlangen, Germany. On November 28, 1990, Bet-David moved to Glendale, California.

He enlisted in the 101st Airborne Division of the U.S. Army before starting a career in financial services.

Career[edit]

After working for Morgan Stanley and Transamerica Corporation, Bet-David founded PHP Agency Inc., an insurance sales, marketing and distribution company at age thirty. On August 17, 2017, PHP closed a $10 million expansion financing round led by Ambina Partners and Atalaya Capital Management, with participation from Brener International Group and retired boxer Oscar De la Hoya[3]

In 2013, he founded Valuetainment to share business advice on his YouTube channel.

Bet-David has interviewed the late Kobe Bryant[4][5], George W. Bush, Jordan Peterson, Kevin Hart, Ray Dalio, Michael Franzese, Sammy "The Bull" Gravano, and John McAfee.

On August 1, 2021, Bet-David appeared on Fox & Friends to discuss his $5 million proposal to former presidents Donald J. Trump and Barack H. Obama to sit down for a debate in hopes of healing the U.S.

On September 23, 2021, Bet-David appeared on the Joe Rogan Experience. [6]

Personal Life[edit]

In June 2009, Bet-David married Jennifer Bet-David (née Hudman). They have four children together.

On June 9, 2021, they paid a record $20.4 million for an estate in Fort Lauderdale[7][8].

He purchased the home after being quoted in the Denver Post saying, "The American dream is not home ownership. The American dream is freedom."[9]

Bet-Davis is an avid card collector. On December 14, 2020, Bet-David sold the 1979-80 O-Pee-Chee Wayne Gretzky rookie card graded Gem Mint 10 by PSA, to make it the first hockey card ever to break the million-dollar mark[10][11]
