Exactly, so many thought he was odd...years later he's exposed and every internet idiot says everyone knew. This mentality is so dangerous, as in, if you're a bit odd you will in time be called a peado.
Why? He spent 20 odd years at the bbc and they say that's where he started it all and they even covered up for him. Why not focus on that, they are literally the ones who could have put a stop to it, but he was an asset to them. Gobsmacked you are kind of defending them on it.

If someone you associate with was convicted of being a peado, would you approve of posters on this forum suggesting you knew?
Not really a fair comparison. Savile was a massive celebrity in the public eye noncing in plain sight and being called out on it publically by other famous people. Absolute madness that he got away with it.
