Hello,
I've been an iOS user all my life and I'm considering switching from iPhone 12 128gb to S23 Ultra since I just got a Samsung Tab S8 and I saw another amazing promotion deal for the S23 Ultra at 599 euros
Do you guys consider this a good switch?

I'm really disappointed with this cellphone. It doesn't have an SD card slot, which means I can't expand the storage capacity beyond what it comes with. I'm constantly running out of space for my photos, videos, and apps, and I don't want to keep deleting things or relying on cloud storage. This is a major inconvenience and limitation for me, and I wish I had known about it before buying the phone. I don't think I would have chosen it if I had realized this was missing.

Not pleased with the lack of aptx adaptive / aptx hd support.. looks like another big company restricting what brand of earbuds you can use alongside its products for optimal experience .
Also, note that screen panel is only 8bit, not 10bit that even Chinese phones are offering for cheap phones

Test by Phonearena where S23 Ultra has better batterly life than S23 Plus

Test by a guy called Darius where S23 Plus has better battery life than S23 Ultra
However, this Darius guy does not know what he is talking about. He does not know what PWM (Pulswitdhmodulation) is and he mixes it up with the variable screen refresh rates of 1-120hz, etc.
So going by this, I would definitely trust more the results of Phonearena and GSMarena, where the S23 Ultra has better battery life than the S23 Plus.

SteveUk, 07 Apr 2023Hmmm... according to the tests on here, battery life endura... moreThis is overall endurance, video playback on S23 Plus is better while Browsing on S23 Ultra is better and Charging also takes less time on S23 Plus but if you want better battery life then get the S23 Plus, people on Reddit are getting almost 12 hours of SOT with small form factor, no SPEN slot and low PPI density.
