In the image above, do you see a private getaway? A getaway from what?

Does someone live in seclusion? What drove them there?

Perhaps your character is there as part of a business meeting?

What if you were drowning and rescued by this magical, glowing dog?

Or perhaps your long-lost pet is seen playing on the beach and leads you to an incredible discovery.

What if the dog brought blessings in disguise?

Do you see the setting of a romantic dinner and proposal? How will it turn out?

Perhaps this is all that is left of an old widow, swept away in the tide, as she searched for her wedding ring.

Or maybe this lamp had washed up on shore after a ship sank at sea.

Do you see hours spent in a competition for an elaborate sand sculpture?

What if a sand-man rises up and takes form at the setting of the sun? What does he do? Does he turn back to sand at sunrise?

Could he have found fleeting love that lasts a short time each night?

What if a quiet walk to clear your head turns into an encounter with a glowing sphere? Do you touch it? What happens?

Sitting in the sand watching the sun set, you hear a quiet hum. Upon investigation, you find this sphere. Where did it come from?

Is the sphere calling to something larger?

Was it supposed to be a joyous beach party and something went wrong? Or there was an unexpected announcement?

Do you see a tropical vacation? What led to this and what is the outcome?

Does a friendly party turn into a murder mystery?

Perhaps you’ve walked this beach hundreds of times — yet never noticed this glow. What happens when you investigate?

Are you able to crawl inside the glowing portal? Does it take you to another time? Another place?

What if a beloved child or pet, full of curiosity (or lured) wanders through the portal? What happens?

What if after a hurricane, the tide rolls out, or a simple storm — your character is walking the beach, enjoying the morning sun, and tossing starfish back into the sea when they find this misshapen orb?

When you touch the orb, does it impart unforeseen knowledge to you? Does it give you special mental abilities?

Or, does it become an unremovable part of you? Perhaps as a bracelet or watch. What “gifts” does it impart and what are the consequences of those gifts?

Walking along the beach, collecting sea glass and shells, you discover a bottle. What is inside?

This there a pleading letter enclosed, reaching out for a savior?

Is there a letter of confession to an unsolved crime?

Or, perhaps you hear a voice from the sparkling, glow within. What are the consequences if you uncork the bottle? Are they good or dire?
