Chickens Coming Home: The Black Manosphere Angry that the White Woman they Hyped Turned Out to Be a Disgusting Racist
Now the Black manosphere is doing cartwheels to distance itself from her.
The Black manosphere is up in arms after the White woman they made rich and famous said some pretty racist things.
The White woman goes by the nick name “Pearly Things”. Her YouTube channel is one of the most popular channels on that platform. But it was not always so popular.
For some times after she created her YouTube channel, Pearly struggled to get traction.
That changed when she appeared on a Black manosphere YouTube show episode in 2022. In that episode, she told the host that Black women were “masculine”, “uncooperative”, “loud” and “obnoxious”.
That appearance introduced her to the Black manosphere audience. They loved her. She then started “interviewing” ( more like berating) Black women on her show. She heavily pandered to Black men while slandering Black women (as one person puts it). That made her even more popular among the Black manosphere and brought her large viewership.
Right now, she has over 1 million subscribers. A Black podcast Bro once said 2022 was “The Year of Pearly”.
But now, the Black manosphere is singing a different tune after what she said on an episode of her show a few days ago.
In that episode, Pearly had the self-described White Nationalist Nick Fuente on for a sit-down. Nick seemed to be more interested in spouting antisemitism, probably because Pearly’s staff is mostly Black people. Pearly, on the other hand, was not deterred by the presence of so many Black people around her from saying disgustingly racist things. She spouted off many anti-Black claims.
She claimed slavery was good for Black people. According to her, slavery was so good that some slaves didn’t even want to be free. She claimed movies like Roots exaggerate and “embellish” the atrocities of slavery. She implied Black people’s view of racism came from watching the movie Roots. ( when you don’t value the intelligence of Black people, you believe our views if racism are regurgitation of what the media feeds us)
She called Black Americans lazy. She said they were not as “industrious” as Africans (a little bit of Divide and Conquer here).
She called the Africans working for her “my Africans”.
She said a lot of other racist things.
All this racism has gotten the Black manosphere up in arms. They couldn’t believe that the White woman they propped up when she was attacking Black women gratuitously turned out to be a disgusting racist.
They are angry that the evil they watered and fed has turned around and attacked them. They are angry that the White woman they made rich and famous is doing what a lot of White people have been doing for centuries.
Really? Really? You are shocked that a White woman who daily attacks Black womanhood also holds racist views about Black Americans in general? Really?
In any case, you were ok when she was saying disgusting things about Black women. So, you should be ok when she is attacking you AND your ancestors.
I mean, you encouraged and prodded her to say outrageously anti-Black women things. But now that she has aimed her racism at all Blacks, not just Black women, you are angry? You feel betrayed?
You thought her hatred would only be limited to Black women?
What did you think would happen?
When you give license to a White person to attack any segment of the Black population, you are giving them implicit assent to attack the whole of the community.
There are no racists who only hate a segment of the Black population.
One of the funniest things for me right now is many in the Black manosphere claiming they never took her seriously. But if you go back a few months and watch their videos, you would see them praising her.
Around the 1:00 point in this Live, Themis shows a clip of a Black manosphere saying he never claimed Pearly was part of the Black manosphere. But a few minutes later, Themis has a clip of the same guy literally saying “Pearly is part of the Black manosphere”. Loool.
Pearly Things is a great example of how a lot of Black people are easily impressed by White people. She is a great example of how we elevate White mediocrity over Black excellence.
Because… if you compare Pearly’s videos/podcasts to Black female manosphere podcasters, you would find the Black women articulate the Black manosphere talking point way way better than she does. They bring lived experience to their videos, while Pearly talks about the Black community as an outsider.
But the Black manosphere elevated a bland White girl over these talented Black women.
Pearly got more views than these Black women. The Black manosphere skipped the many Black women who love and worship them to foist up a White woman who views them as nothing more than guilible audiences.
If the Black manosphere had done the most surface-level research on Pearly, they would have found out she was a racist way way before she ever came into their universe. I mean there are videos on YOUTUBE of her saying racist things back in 2020/2021.
There are videos of her from back in 2020/2021 where she says there was no racism in America. There are videos where she says Black culture is “unproductive”.
She has been saying Black Americans are “lazy” and complain “too much” before she the Black manosphere platformed her in 2022.
If the Black manosphere were not blinded by their hatred for Black women, they would have found out Pearly was a racist. They wouldn’t have given a platform to this racist woman.
But now, they have made her famous and rich. She doesn’t need them for her continued success. As a lot of people have pointed out, she might even be planning on moving away from the Black manosphere and into the White manosphere now that she has a big follower, thanks to Black men.
Creating your platform by appealing to Black people, then once you are established abandoning the Black audience and moving into the White one is not a new thing. That is how Fox network became what it is today. That is what a lot of popular music radio stations have done.
I even see it on Twitter. Accounts like the Daily Loud (a white-owned account) are aimed at Black Twitter right now. But watch out when the account becomes very large, they will abandon Black Twitter and move into White Twitter.
(To be honest, Black people shouldn’t even be following and interacting with culture vultures like Daily Loud, but that is a conversation for another post).
On Twitter, it has been embarassing to watch so many Africans flattered by Pearly’s claim thay we are more “industrious” than Black Americans. Remember, this is how Divide and Conquer works. A backhanded compliment is never a compliment. Anything that puts down one part of the Black population to “uplift” another should be rejected outright.
