HT, 43 minutes ago"Virtual" sensor? Do you mean ultrasonic?Nope. I didn't even say "sensor" coz it's not really a sensor. I understand this as some issue caused by the lack of real proximity sensor on (Samsung, in this case) phones. Better ask that guy, 2 comments below mine.
Btw just have noticed video review of A54 is available. Gonna check it!

Anonymous, 20 hours ago2.2 sadlyYou can not expect the highest UFS (Universal Flash Storage) version from a mid-class phone.
Besides, on which task do you feel a difference?

The Exynos 1380 has an NPU with 4.9 TOPS of performance.
That is pathetic for a midrange chip in 2023.
For reference,
Snapdragon 778G = 12 TOPS
Snapdragon 765G = 5.5 TOPS
Exynos 2100 = 26 TOPS
Exynos 990 = 15 TOPS
A15 Bionic = 15 TOPS
A14 Bionic = 11 TOPS
A13 Bionic = 6 TOPS

Been using the phone for a week now and I'm still impressed and don't regret upgrading one bit. Performance is worlds better than on last year's A53 and I really enjoy the new design aswell.
I don't get why people insult each other on here over this, lol. No matter what you think, this thing is going to sell like crazy just like all the other phones of the A series. Samsung delivers a much better package than any other Android manufacturer atm. Most people want a phone that just works and offers long update support and security. The avarage Joe doesn't care in the slightest if some Chinese phone has a bit better processor. It's not even noticeable in every day use anyway. Plus Samsungs UI feels really polished and userfriendly unlike other phone brands that put ads everywhere in their UI and have questionable security policies.
If you're thinking about getting an overall good Midrange phone, with good performance and long Software support you sure as hell can't go wrong with the A54.

Reda , 15 hours agoNo, same capacity (5000 mah)Although A54 and A34 has same battery size (5000 mAh), the A34 will have longer battery life due to more efficient Dimensity chip.
DXOmark already tested the A34 and found that the A34 has longer battery life than A54.

Rajinders, 6 hours agoNot correct , Sd 7 gen 2 is a big upgrade over Sd778G. ... moreYes that is what I said to him many times. You seems to be responding to his quotes which I forgot to clear while I was replying to him. Yes, SD 7 gen 2 is vastly superior to now old SD 778G. A54 should have launched with the SD 7 gen 2 or gen 1 at least for a proper replacement to 2021 SD 778G. Unfortunately Exynos 1380 in the A54 barely competes with the 2021 SD 778G and the guy named Razor200 continuously calling it a victory for Exynos reaching on par with Snapdragon (2021 cough cough). In comparison to Exynos 1380 in the A54, the old SD 778G is still superior in GPU performance, ISPs, AI, literally all those components in an SOC except CPU cores which is now on par.

[deleted post]Then how come I never ever have experienced it even though I have virtual proximity sensing on the phone? If you're serious, better consider your usage, settings or faulty unit instead of flooding numerous comment sections with this complaint.

Virtual proximity sensor is big concern in this phone. It keeps open try to unlock and locked for hours while in pocket. My earlier A50 has hardware sensor and never had this problem. We have to avoid devices with virtual sensor and most useless thing to have. Worst device.
Until you bought and use this phone you never know this problem

And Qualc... moreNot correct ,
Sd 7 gen 2 is a big upgrade over Sd778G.
It does give good competition to sd 8 gen 1 .
Just go through the review comparison of sd 8 gen 1 vs. SD 7 gen 2.
It does closely graze sd 8 gen 1 whereas sd778G is way below SD 7 gen 2
