Unfortunately, the Samsung galaxy a53 is on the list of risky devices with an exynos chip according to published data from Google. I had to stop using that device because of the risk with business banking on the device.

Virtual proximity sensor is big concern in this phone. It keeps open try to unlock and locked for hours while in pocket. My earlier A50 has hardware sensor and never had this problem. We have to avoid devices with virtual sensor and most useless thing to have. Worst device.
Until you bought and use this phone you never know this problem

I have A33, This virtual proximity sensor is real big issue. If you kept your phone in pocket then it tries to unlock automatically and after certain attempts it will block you to use the phone for 1/10/60 minutes like this based on unsuccessful attempts.
If possible please stay away the devices which has virtual proximity sensor

The camera shutter practically does not work in number of situations. This makes the phone useless for taking photos. I missed a few important events that I wanted to take picture of.
I really regret for purchasing this phone.

How does the a53 gets only 379k in antutu in gsmarena? I always get more than 420k and the highest punctuation I got was 447k

I just get the a53 instead of a54 because it doesn't improve a lot and the price difference is significant where I live (a53 320$ vs a54 470$) and it's amazing, good camera, screen, performance, battery, etc

Guys... Screenshot gesture palm swipe isn't working on my a53 ... also have tried using side buttons but no use... It is working only from notifications panel

A52s: Better performance, has 3.5mm jack and charger included
A53: Better camera, better battery and 2 more years of updates
