Spending this much money on an Exynos phone is a waste of money."
In efficiency Exynos is better, doesn't lag behind becuase has equal performance.
Exynos chipsets are competent, and spending on an high-end Exynos SoC is better, and isn't a waste of money.

You clearly never have tried an high-end Exynos chipset, the A54 Exynos 1380 isn't bad like the Exynos 9611.
and the high-end Exynos like the Exynos 2100/2200 are excellent and offer overall a better performance/efficiency than the other vendors, better consider buying it.

I didn't say that I hate it, but what I meant was that it deserves a better design because;
1. It's Samsung-branded, so a premium branded phone with a premium price tag deserves premium materials
2. It doesn't look original, neither it doesn't change a majority of nay-sayers
3. There are much cheaper phones with smaller, but uniform bezels
And support unfortunately doesn't matter if you buy phones from any brand, whether it's Samsung or Xiaomi and replace it in a little after the warranty expires. But that doesn't mean that 5 year support on updates is bad at all.
