Moiya Kelly (born 1934) is a retired British actress of the 1950s. Kelly was born in Finsbury in London in 1934. Just short of her third birthday in 1937 she danced a duet on stage at the Hippodrome Theatre in Norwich, appearing there again in 1940 and 1941. An accomplished dancer by the age of 13, Kelly was invited to audition for the Royal Ballet School. They, while recognising her talent, informed her that she would not grow tall enough for a professional career in ballet. Aged 16 Kelly appeared in the pantomime Cinderella opposite Derek Roy as Buttons and Christine Norden in the title role.

Gail Denise Parker is a South African politician and public servant who represented the African National Congress (ANC) in the Northern Cape Provincial Legislature from 2014 to 2019. During that time, she served briefly as the Northern Cape's Member of the Executive Council (MEC) for Finance, Economic Development and Tourism from May to June 2017: she was appointed in a controversial cabinet reshuffle which the ANC later obliged Premier Sylvia Lucas to reverse. Parker trained as a teacher and entered politics through the South African Democratic Teachers Union.

First-seeded player Jimmy Connors won his third consecutive singles title and earned $10,000 first-prize money.
