Early this morning the normally mild-mannered Air America morning show co-host Richard Bey told the audience — and his new on-air partner Coz Carson — that he was fired from WABC radio for his opposition to the Iraq war. Ostensibly speaking on behalf of all leftish radio personalities who lost their jobs as WABC radio veered into a conservative format in the years after the Iraq war, Bey said, vehemently, ”We got fired because we spoke the truth about this war.”
