The 48th Konami Group Cup Fifth Match 4th Game, in which Akira Watanabe Ryuo Fujii challenges King Akira Watanabe, will be held on March 19 (Sun) at "Nikko Kinugawa Spa Hotel Mikazuki" in Nikko City, Tochigi Prefecture. We, Ryuo Ryuou, defeated Watanabe Kioh in 132 moves, taking the title with a match record of 3 wins and 1 loss.
Fujii is the first shogi king acquisition.
In addition, Shin Fujii will have six crowns in all the titles he currently holds, but the achievement of six crowns at the age of 20 years and 8 months surpasses Yoshiharu Habu Hanyu's achievement of 24 years and 2 months in December 1994. It will be the youngest six crowns to do.
