Linux has its flaws, everything is so intricately done, and misses the very basic logic. I mean why is there no password prompt just below where they are showing permission denied. Is that beyond Linux dev logic?

Because of negative votes. OP didn't meant to say fuck and had a typo. fsck is a bash command as far as I know.
