https://youtu.be/OPiwaCH818Q. I thought S23 ultra are the fastest Android phone to date. But after saw this video even pixel 6 can beat S23 ultra despite pixel phone's comes with exynos aka custom Soc google tensor that inferior to SD 888.

Accidentally delete DCIM? I bet you most of the people don't even know where that folder is located or have access to it (iOS). Even then, deleting it will put it in the Recycle Bin, fully recoverable.
While I am pro-microSD cards and would prefer to have one in my phone, you really need to wake up to reality and accept that spilling your frustrations on people who don't share the same opinion with you will not bring your "beloved" feature back.
As counter measures against this happening, transfer data often to a more reliabile storage option, like a personal computer. Much better option that takes less time to cry on a forum with people that share a different opinion.

Most laptop or devices that do not have a inbuilt sd card reader. get a OTG USB C flash drive. Far more convenient,compact and faster. If you are caring about speed or storage , just get a external ssd

1st week of using the s23 ultra. Really good battery life, getting at least 7 - 8 hrs sot with 20% left with heavy usage. Display is excellent no issues with it. Have not use oneui in years and I have to say oneui though less customisation compared to Chinese brands like coloros, the old oxygen os has improved alot. I find myself using goodlock more instead of third party launchers like nova. Charging is not the greatest even at 45w compared to the Chinese brands with 100w charger right out of the box. Not a issue for me since battery life is excellent. Biggest disappointment is the no headphone jack. A flagship device not having headphone is pretty common. I still use wired items since they sound better

Benefits you never thought about until you accidentally delete your DCIM folder and realize data recovery software does not work on internal storage.
Would you say "people still haven't got past the USB port age" when that disappears?
It does not matter how old it is. If it has practical benefits, it is superior.

No idea what Samsung did but this thing is a beast and lasts way more than my 13promax used to. Probably improved optimization and Snapdragon 8 gen 2! Kudos Samsung
