Hospital
At the hospital, you can
- Heal wounded soldiers
- Revive soldiers who died during SvS
(Note – The following cannot be healed or revived at the hospital. Siege machines (repaired at the Trap Factory) / Souls of soldiers (revived at the Holy Palace) / Deserters (recalled at the Holy Palace) / Dead Generals (revived at the Shrine)).
Raising the level of the hospital increases the number of wounded soldiers that can be accommodated.
Construction becomes possible at Keep level 6.
To raise the level of the Research Factory, the Hospital must be raised first.

How to Increase Hospital Capacity
Hospital – Raise the level.
Research – Advance “Hospital Scale (MAX + 50,000)”, “Super Hospital Scale (MAX + 150%)” and “Supreme Hospital Scale (MAX + 50,000)” in the “Medical Aid” category of the Academy, and “Adv Medical Power (MAX + 100%)” in the “Defense” category. In order to speed up the speed of their research, it is also advisable to give priority to advancing “Typography” and “Super Typography” in the “Advancement” category. Also, “Military Drill I, II, and III” in the “Ground Troop Formation” category of the Military Academy will also increase capacity.
Duty Officer – Setting an officer in charge of a hospital increases the maximum capacity of the hospital. Any general can be the officer in charge, but the ideal is Skanderbeg. He has skills and specialties related to hospitals. See this article for how strong they need to be.
Defense General – Many generals who are suited to be wall defenders have an increased maximum hospital capacity when their star level is raised to red star 2. In the case of Richard the Lionheart, it also increases even at star level 0 (+30%. depending on basic skills). However, it is not recommended to grow him due to his low combat performance.
TIPS – How to take advantage of Richard the Lionheart’s capacity-increasing skills
It can be utilized in very limited situations (able to take advantage of the +30% skill without growth).
“Only if you send reinforcements to your ally’s castle while bubbling and fight only in defense of your ally’s castle”, temporarily set Richard the Lionheart as an assistant defender (or main defender) Never drop the bubble yourself. Never fight in the defense of your own castle.
Since you are not defending your castle, it does not matter if the defender is weak.
This way, there is no problem even if Richard the Lionheart’s combat performance is low. He can maximize the hospital capacity without risk.
If reinforcements sent to an ally’s castle are wounded in battle, more can be accommodated.
(Note that in “battlefields” such as Gaugamela and Constantinople, this is meaningless because the hospital capacity is unlimited.)
Dragon – Set a general with a Dragon of Thebes as a defender. Dragon level 10 gives +25%, level 15 +35%. For more information on dragons, see this article.
Monarch Talent – Select “Hospital Capacity” at level 30 (+25%).
Other – During SvS, the hospital capacity is temporarily increased by 50%.
Duty Officer
Unlocked at Hospital Lv15.
Assigning a duty officer to a Hospital increases the Hospital Capacity & Healing speed.
You can put any general to duty officer if you just want to get this duty officer buff.
Ideally, Skanderbeg. He has skills and specialties related to hospitals, and also increases maximum hospital capacity and healing speed, etc.
